The Frye Carson Shortie is one of the boots in the Frye Carson collection that stands out as being not only quite fashionable, but having a rather "cute" look about them. Here are a number of features about this boot that women love:
Comfortable - All of the Carson boots in the Frye collection have this feature - they are made with some of the softest leather around which makes them not only more attractive but quite comfortable as well.
Ankle Style - For women who love an ankle style boot with a distinct western look, this is the perfect boot. It's simple in style - no added studs or belts, etc., but is in no way short on looks. This boot would go perfectly with a shorter skirt (the combination being very much in style these days), and if you have thinner calves these boots would add an appearance of shapeliness.
"Just Right" Height - The heel of this boot is 1 ¾", and for many women this is in the region of "not too high" and "not too low". Just enough height to add some real style.
General Looks - These boots have a standard yet feminine western construction. Even though they are not a high boot, they have a couple of pull on straps to make them easier to get on. Rather than being bowed out or slouchy, they have a "straight up" 7.5" shaft height - a great look!
On Shopping: Interestingly, the Frye Carson Shortie boots can be a bit difficult to track down - at least from merchants who offer much variety of the colors (at this writing). This fact may change over time, and I expect we will see more of them - and more available merchants during colder months of the year.
